Are you a last minute shopper or one of those who starts Christmas shopping in July? I am usually somewhere right in the middle. I like to shop online and I love to give handmade gifts. I normally start shopping around the end of October. This year though, I have dropped the ball. I have ordered 1 gift. That's it. I have not been to the mall, to any boutiques, to Wal-Mart... There is not one single gift under our tree. I am going to be one of those people this year. One of those last minute shoppers.
I have been so busy the last few months that when I get a chance to be at home, I want to stay there. I just want to look at the tree, pin things on Pinterest, read books and eat Christmas-y treats.
Right now I am reading this book:

It's all about the flea-market culture and I am really enjoying it so far. I just wanted to say thanks for suggesting it, Carrie.
Also, watched this movie last night:

What a darn tear-jerker!
What are you reading and/or watching?

I'm a November buyer and a December maker as far as gifts go. In fact, I'm taking a break on making gifts to catch up on some of my fave blogs. :)
Currently reading: Nine Stories by J.D. Salinger and Shaman Healer Sage by Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D.
I've not seen that movie, but I do enjoy a good tear jerker...I'll have to check it out!
xox
We don't exchange many gifts so not a lot of shopping. What I have to do is done, thank goodness. We're watching holiday films: "White Christmas," "Elf," "Christmas Vacation" and "The Nutcracker."
LL, I want to get to the point where the adults do not exchange gifts. I do not need or want anything else and I just want to give things to the kids in the family. Maybe one day we can all agree to do that.
oh and "Elf" is one of my faves!
Watched the Nutcracker last night, reading a new mystery by Sue Grafton and basically ignoring the fact I need to be wrapping and shipping :)
Nothing - i'm busy doing Christmas Shopping! LOL just kidding actually busy trying to get orders completed and shipped! Angela personally i think you've got the right idea...Christmas should be a time of peace and enjoyment! RELAX!!! i know i'm going to - i should be done sewing today and that's it for me until the New Year! :D
As you can tell by my lack of blogging and visiting your blog, I haven't had much time to read. I still make time for Survivor and Amazing Race, though. :0)
Miss you! Merry Christmas to you and Aubrey!!!
I am so behind this year as well—so much more going on and I have just not had time to do all the hand/homemade touches like normal. I hope you guys have a lovely holiday and get some time to relax!
we shop like crazy and give to everyone in the family, i still think it's fun but this year i was in the same boat as you! shopped VERY last minute.
i finished The Road last night, it is dark and sad. i gave it to D last year and he told me how it ended so i waited a year to read it but i still remembered what he said... i've got to get the 4th Harry Potter because I just started that series this summer :)
