So here is a quick rundown of my life in the last few weeks.
1. The booth did GREAT over the holidays. I tried to stop by every few days but just could not keep up with it and all the other Holiday obligations. I will be excited to get my check for the month and my list of things that sold - I couldn't keep up. I will update you in a couple of weeks.
2. My cousin, Carly, had breast reduction surgery the Monday before Christmas. I spent Tuesday evening with her- watching movies and rubbing her feet and legs with lotion. Poor thing! She is a petite girl and her Mom said that the doctor estimated her a size "I" before. I didn't even know there was a such size! Here she is on Christmas Eve -- still very tired and sore but down to a C.
3. I worked on Wednesday and finished up most of my shopping that night.
4. I worked on Friday and we were super busy at the shop.
5. On Saturday I finished the very last minute shopping and made homemade candy all day.
6. Saturday night - Christmas with my family at my brother's house. Here are a few pictures:
7. Then, Aubrey and I went home for our own Christmas. I gave him a coffee maker and a ton of coffee and we have both really enjoyed it. He gave me "Trivial Pursuit" for our Wii and I haven't beat him yet!
9. I am hoping to take next Monday off work. I could use a little break. You don't get much of one when Christmas falls on a weekend, do you?
10. My favorite gift this year was from my brother and sister-in-law- an Amazon gift card. A year later, my Kindle is still my all time favorite gift and I can't wait to buy more books!

Your cousin is so cute, I hope her healing goes well. :)
Busy busy times! Looks like fun though! :) Yay for the presents!
you sound very busy but also happy! so glad the shop is going well!
Wishing you a very happy new year...I think it is going to be an exciting one for you!
'tis the season to be busy!
glad you had a nice Christmas, regardless of the gogogo.
here's wishing you guys a happy new year.
Sorry about all your stinky techno issues. I don't know what Tivo you had, but I have one of the old ones but it still worked when we got our DVR. If you have the service contract already, I'd be happy to send you my Tivo and you can see if it works for you if yours is dead.
Cute pics from family time! Poor, sore girl will feel so much better soon though, and her back will thank her! Don't you love the Christmas meltdowns. My kids end up opening gifts at least four separate times (each of the in-laws, Santa, my family, and usually another family/friend exchange) and get where they just want to tear paper off of a box and rip the box open with no regard or actual care for what is inside the box. That's always a good indicator that the present time is over.
Glad you had a nice time!
Mel, thanks for the Tivo offer :) I think we just need to call the service department. This one is not even a year old yet so I am hoping they will replace it. It is just one of those things we need to take care of :)
Just popping in to wish you a very Happy New Year!
I too have been mia due to computer problems..thankfully now solved.
Sounds like a fun and busy Holiday...great pics!
