Recipe For Cream Pralines

1 box light brown sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. butter
2 c. pecan halves
Candy thermometer -- don't try to wing it here-- You NEED a candy thermometer

Mix sugar, salt, milk and butter in a 2 quart saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Add pecans and cook over medium heat to 234 degrees, stirring constantly. Remove; let cool 5 minutes. Stir rapidly until mixture coats pecans and thickens. Drop onto wax paper by the spoon.

Thanks! Will make these soon. Can you imagine what they would taste like with a little bacon in them?
