Stood Up

Aubrey and I had an appointment to go picking this afternoon. We bundled up, got our flashlights, called the guy --no answer. We drove to the location-- just in case-- but he wasn't there. Y'all this place is some kind of awesome. If I could design a "pick" perfect just for me and my taste - this would be it!

We are talking cherry red sign letters which are as tall as I am, stacks and stacks of old painted doors, lengths of iron fence...and these are just the things that can be seen from several yards away behind a tall fence.

We will not give up though...we will call and call until the guy answers. I HAVE to get in there. I HAVE to!

So, I thought since I can't share the things I thought I would have in my possession this evening -- I will share a few other things I have picked up the last few weeks. I found 2 of these old potato chip display stands.I thought this reversible metal game board would make a great bulletin board.

Found this little flashcard type game - thought it would be really cute for some crafty project. Look how cute the little furniture is:I have been slowly but surely restocking my Etsy shop. I am trying to find a balance between stocking my Etsy shop and stocking my antique mall booth.

Tomorrow morning will start off with an estate sale here in my town. Because of the kind of job I have, I will get to go to the sale and then drive up to work. Hopefully, we can reschedule our picking appointment. I think I would rather go on a Saturday anyway - more daylight = more time=more stuff!
