Sunsets and Clouds

I have had some interesting commutes the last few weeks. First of all, there have been many mornings like this lately:
I have never seen so many foggy mornings in a row!

Then, by 5:00 when I start for home, I see the most beautiful sunsets. They keep me entertained for at least 30 minutes of the 45 minute drive - so that's good.
I know it's blurry, but the colors are so great...and I take the photos without taking my eyes off the road so it's not exactly my shining moment as a photographer.

Today, I had to pull over just to look at the sunbeams coming through the clouds. The picture does no justice. It was breathtaking!

Then, I was back on the road to run into the largest black cloud I have ever seen:
It was ominous. There was stuff blowing all across the road. I had to call Aubrey and ask if a tornado was coming! He said the coast was clear so I kept on trying to get home before the storm.

Then, I saw this:

Doesn't that look like a tornado forming? I was terrified at that point. I put the phone away - no more out of focus pictures for me. It was time to grip the wheel and get home.

So, enough about the weather, right? I finished reading "The Happiness Project" and I am a heck of alot happier! Just kidding. Seriously though - she made some good points that I will take away from the book and she made some bad points which I will just try to forget.

Moving on, I started reading "The Hunger Games" and I am obsessed! I am only on chapter 5 and LOVE IT!! I have already convinced Aubrey to read along with me. When I enjoy something I want him to enjoy it too! I know it's the kind of book he will like so he said he will start reading it as soon as he finishes "Moby Dick." Poor man has been trying to get through Moby Dick for the longest time. I keep telling him to just quit reading it but he is so much like me and has to finish what he starts if it takes him forever to do it.

No problem though. It's giving me a good head start. He is a faster reader so he will be able to finish Moby and catch up to me with no problem at all. Am I the only one who is convinced that reading something you enjoy is even more enjoyable when someone else is reading it too?

So that's it. Commuting. Reading. Treasure hunting tomorrow!

It was really foggy today here!
Beautiful sunset and sun rays. :)

I am paranoid about clouds that look like that last one nowadays!!

The 45 minutes between here and Gadsden aren't too bad, I am getting used to it more! :)

Hunger games....do you remember that Summer desperately wanted to play Katniss in the movie? Where were my Hollywood connections when I needed them? HaHa. Enjoy it. I love that book!

Angela-Tonight, after several ridiculous weeks, I am catching up on all of you & everyones blogs. I just got all caught up on yours and I have to tell you that I was just so moved by your blog on not feeling authentic. I think more people need to take a look at themselves and just be who they are. I loved how you wrote it all out, too. You are such a very interesting person and I am so glad I stumbled across your blog so many moons ago. I love who you are.
